To be verb - negative form

THE VERB "TO BE" 

"Negative form" 

For the simple present of the verb "TO BE", we can use it in negative form. We have just to deny the verb by adding "not" to the main verb.

Let's have a vocabulary with some nouns. Then we are going to use it in a sentences.

VOCABULARY:

a) a computer

b) a table

c) a car

d) sandals

e) a picture

VERB TO BE -  NEGATIVE FORM: SINGULAR 

VERB TO BE - NEGATIVE FORM (PLURAL)

FORMULATION:

Let's form some sentences: 

SINGULAR --------> (I, YOU, HE, SHE, IT)

PLURAL -----------> (WE, YOU, THEY)

a) I am not a teacher.

b) She is not Alice. She is Rebeca.

c) You are not a police officer.

d) He is not a man. He is a boy.

e) It is not a car.

f) We are not friends.

g) They are not shoes.

h) You are not brothers.

i) I am not a doctor.

j) She is not tall. She is short.

j) You are not a man. You are a boy.

l) He is not a woman. He is a man.

m) It is not a ruler.

n) We are not students. 

o) They are not computers. They are tables.

p) You are not friends.
